Sub Plan 9

1. Pass out worksheet and notebook paper.  Direct students that they should complete the worksheet on the notebook paper and return the worksheet.
2. Explain to students that there are visual examples of their assignments posted on the "Directions" board.
3. Play the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odP3akRWJlY&feature=youtu.be
4. Have students complete the worksheet.  Give students 10 minutes.  At the end of the 10 minutes have them turn in whatever work they completed.
5. Pass out white paper.  
6. Direct students to write their first and last name on the back of the paper and then use markers and color pencils to create an image of what they think extraterrestrial life looks like.
7. Let students know that they can complete the reading on the back of the worksheet if they complete their drawing before the end of class.
